Yoga Therapy Training Course 250hrs - November 2018, Lisbon

Yoga Therapy Training Course 250hrs
with Gonçalo Correia and Marco Peralta

This Yoga Therapy Training is intended for Yoga Teachers who completed a 200 hours Teacher Training Course and who are teaching for a minimum of 2 years.
Yoga therapy is the therapy that uses the techniques, philosophy, physiology and psychology of yoga to promote and restore physical and mental health, as well as complement any allopathic or natural therapy and to alleviate, treat and cure disorders and illnesses while always keeping in mind the actual goal and purpose of Yoga which is self realization.
Yoga therapy is a fundamental contribution of yoga for modern life, based on ancient principles, offering natural solutions and using what you already have with you, (your body and your mind) to heal yourself and see yourself whole and complete despite your circumstances and in this way contributing in a very real sense to an integral and healthier human being.
Therefore, Teachers will learn to apply the Yoga Therapy principles in themselves, which in a way always was the main process of Yoga, to remove the obstacles (mistaken views, beliefs, diseases) that one might have to the realization of yoga. Therefore, become themselves an living example of Yoga Therapy applications.

Each person is unique, some students face mental, others physical and others emotional challenges especially if they come for yoga, Teachers should know the dos and don’ts , teachers should take this in consideration and know how to teach, guide and adapt the practise and orient the student on a personalized way.

Teachers will be able to receive and hold in their regular Yoga classes (private or group) practitioners in any physical or psychological conditions, bringing awareness to the immense potential of healing and regeneration that each one has in itself, and also teach and use Yoga therapy in a private therapy setting (one-a-one) Using Yoga Therapy this issues can be dealt with, and a further advancement of this health issues can be avoided (heyam dukham anagatam).
So that the students should be informed about yoga therapeutic approach, because Yoga Therapy is needed not only for treating, but also primary should be used in preventing health issues.

At the end of the course, the trainees will be able to use the techniques (philosophy and psychology) of yoga for therapeutic purposes in a group or private settings so that their  students should feel improvement in health issues, gain self confidence in their yoga practise/path and specially realize the totality of him/her self in his daily life.

Yoga Teacher Training Intensive - July 2017

YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

TAUGHT IN ENGLISH
-    RYS 200h, Yoga Alliance Professionals Certification -

Intensive | Portugal
July 2017

Conducted by MARCO PERALTA (SYT*)  &
guest teachers.

Welcome!

One of the most important aspects when giving these trainings  is always each individual practitioner expression of Yoga.

I feel that everyone  who starts practicing Yoga and later decides to teach and share the practice, already brings this seed within himself. This training more than the intent of forming and “formatting” the pupil  intends to water the seed and help to awaken each one´s own YOGA because although Yoga has various styles and traditions, they are always expressed in an  individual, personal and unique way!

Teaching Yoga requires some practical knowledge, study and direct experience of the subject. The Teacher training classes will cover all the necessary topics to achieve that knowledge, from the recommended music to use in classes to the ethical behavior of the teacher toward his pupils.

The main goal of this training program is to form Yoga instructors with the knowledge to teach in a safe, inspired and confident way, from their own experience, study and knowledge. The training will be intensive and i encourage all the trainees to bring intent to the goals and principles of this teaching in order to teach Yoga at the highest professional level.
